9-1-1 Public Emergency Reporting Service
On
November 9, 2007, in BIA 1p, Bell Canada
announced the publication of an updated version of BID-0013
"9-1-1 Public Emergency Reporting Service (9-1-1 PERS) Terminal-to-Network
Interface".
In
BID-0013
(Issue 10.1 - Introduction and Appendix 1), dated
November 2007,
modifications
were made to the printer sample displays
contained in Appendix 1.
The
“DMS Line #” / “# lien DMS” for the printer displays was increased by two
digits, from XX-XXX-XX to XX-XXX-XXXX. For the French printer displays,
“No position” was changed to “Position” and “# lien DMS :” was changed to
“Lien DMS:”.
Due
to a technical limitation that was discovered subsequent to the issuance
of BIA 1p, it has been determined that these changes will not be
implemented as planned. BID 0013 Issue 10 – Introduction and Appendix 1
will therefore remain in effect.
