Service Introduction for Release Link Trunk (RLT) Interface on Megalink
Bell Canada announces that Release Link Trunk functionality previously disclosed in
Bell Industry Advisory BIA-4g will be introduced as a Special
Assembly, rather than under General Tariff.
Compatibility Impact:
None expected.
Documentation:
The interface offered by Bell Canada is described in
Bell document BID-0025, "DMS-100Ô Terminal-to-Network Interface for Megalink, ISDN Primary Rate
Interface (PRI)", dated July 1998. BID-0025
is based on the interface specifications in Nortel document NIS A211-1, Release 07.05, dated May
1997.
Bell will invoice recipients $65 for each hard copy of Bell document BID-0025, and $150 for each hard copy of Nortel
document NIS A211-1, Release 07.05.
Electronic versions of BIDs are
available for $50 each. Please
