Year 2000

Bell Canada announces that the impact of "Year 2000" on the Bell Networks is being investigated.

Compatibility Impact:

Terminals and networks which exchange date information with the Bell networks may be impacted if they process this information. Even if there is no change at the interface of the Stentor networks, interconnected terminals and networks may have to be modified to be
"Year 2000" compatible.

Documentation:

It is not expected that an amendment to the Terminal Equipment Technical Requirements
will be necessary.
